A Gentleman’s Secret Dressing Room

She claimed the closets, the vanities, and every corner in between—so he claimed a sanctuary of his own, hidden behind a bookshelf.
For this project, we designed a Gentleman’s Dressing Room that embodies discretion, elegance, and timeless sophistication. Inspired by the atmosphere of traditional gentlemen’s smoking rooms, the space combines rich textures, bespoke cabinetry, and refined detailing to create a retreat that is both functional and atmospheric.
The entrance to the dressing room is hidden within a custom-built bookshelf in the bedroom, concealing the passage in true gentlemanly fashion. The same bookshelf design continues to discreetly frame the bathroom entrance, offering both privacy and seamless integration. This thoughtful use of hidden doors adds a sense of mystery and exclusivity to the space.
